PRETTYBOI NAILS is a private nail salon rooted in queer culture, contemporary design, and unapologetic self-expression. Step into a studio built to be easy on the senses — soft lighting, a curated playlist, unhurried appointments. We specialize in gel manicures and hand-painted nail art, treating every set as a collaboration between precise technique and individual style. No cookie-cutter templates, just careful, intentional work. We believe beauty is personal, and every client should leave feeling like their hands actually reflect who they are. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS DO I NEED AN APPOINTMENT, OR CAN I WALK IN? I work by appointment only, so every client gets my full attention with no rushing. This also means the space stays quiet and unhurried — better for you and better for me! HOW FAR IN ADVANCE CAN I BOOK? I typically open bookings about a month out, but if you're planning ahead — a wedding, vacation, or special event — just reach out, and I'm happy to schedule further in advance by special request. CAN I MAKE CHANGES TO MY APPOINTMENT AFTER BOOKING? Yes! If you'd like to adjust your service or switch to a different nail art tier, just text or email me and I'll do my best to accommodate you. Changes aren't always guaranteed depending on timing, but I'll always try to work something out. I appreciate at least 48 hours' notice when possible — it helps me make sure I have the right time and products ready for you. HOW DO I KNOW WHICH NAIL ART TIER TO PICK? No worries at all — that's what I'm here for! You can check out examples of each tier on my Instagram or portfolio page to get a feel for what's included. If you're still not sure, just let me know what you're drawn to (or send a few inspo pics), and I'll help you figure out which tier fits best based on the design and your appointment time. CAN I BRING SOMEONE WITH ME? To keep things calm and give each client my full attention, I keep appointments one-on-one — so I ask that you come solo rather than bringing along guests or plus-ones. Thanks for understanding! DO YOU REQUIRE MASKS? Although I don't require masks, I always wear a dust mask while I work, and if an N95 or KN95 would make you more comfortable in the chair, I'll gladly wear one instead - no explanation needed! DO YOU HAVE AN AIR PURIFIER? A good air purifier makes a real difference in a nail studio. I like the Levoit Core 300-P — paired with the carbon filter, it filters out dust, odors, and fumes so the air feels fresh and breathable, not funky. ARE YOUR PRODUCTS CRUELTY-FREE AND VEGAN? Yes! I'm intentional about the products I use, and cruelty-free and vegan options are a priority in my studio. If you ever have questions about a specific product or ingredient, just ask — I'm happy to walk you through what I'm using. DO YOU ACCOMMODATE SPECIAL REQUESTS? Absolutely — this is your time, so let's make it comfortable. If you'd prefer a quiet or silent appointment, have sensitivities to fragrance, or sensory sensitivities in general, just tell me ahead of time, and I'll do what I can to accommodate. WHERE CAN I PARK? There's free street parking right outside with no time limit — no need to feed a meter or watch the clock during your appointment. WHAT'S AROUND YOUR STUDIO? I'm tucked into the Queen Anne neighborhood, so there's plenty to do before or after your appointment. Grab a coffee at Cafe Vita, browse Queen Anne Book Company, pick up the essentials at Trader Joe's, or treat yourself to Molly Moon's Homemade Ice Cream — all just a short walk away.
